Brooke was a graduate of Academy of Our Lady and Our Lady of Holy Cross College. She was pursuing a doctorate degree at the time of her passing. Brooke was a former Eucharistic minister and lector at St. Patrick Church in Port Sulphur. She also assisted and counseled callers on the New Orleans Crisis Hotline. To know Brooke was to love Brooke. She was so smart and thoughtful. She never met a stranger. In her too short time here on earth, Brooke touched more lives and made more friends than most people do in a lifetime. She had an enormous heart and lived life to the fullest and with passion. She had that rare gift of warmth and unselfishness. She often visited her uncle at the nursing home. She joked and cheered him with her sweet nature. She sang to him and with him and was his Karaoke Buddy at family parties and events. She loved writing poetry and stories. She also had a passion for song and dance from a young age, and wrote and sang several songs with the voice of an angel. Brooke enjoyed fishing and hunting with her brothers and friends. She brought so much life and joy to our lives and we are much better for having known and loved her. Until we meet again--fly high Beautiful Angel!
