Bryan David Buckel

Bryan David Buckel entered into eternal rest on Saturday, September 14, 2013 at the age of 77. Beloved husband of the late Annabell Marie Vicknair Buckel. Son of the late Charles C. Buckel and Mary L. Sisung Buckel. Loving and devoted father of Elizabeth Ann Buckel Dixon and husband Darrell. Grandfather of Ryan Dixon, Sarah Dixon, Emily Dixon and Jacoby Dixon. Brother of Janelle Ann Buckel Victoriano and the late Charles C. Buckel, Jr. and Ray Gerald Buckel. Special friend of Mary B. Lawson. He also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. Bryan served his country in the United States Army; was a member of Theta Golden Agers and was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, September 23, 2013 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Monday at 11AM. Interment will be held in Westlawn South Cemetery, Terrytown, LA.
