Burnie A. Danjean, III passed away on Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Kathy Peltier Danjean for 50 years. Father of Burnie A. Danjean, IV, (Lydia) and the late Michael D. Danjean. Son of the late Anna Marie Oser Danjean and Burnie A. Danjean, Jr. Brother of Daniel M. Danjean (Mona), and Frank J. Danjean (Melissa). Grandfather of Zachary Danjean, Aidan C. York, and Caleesi M. York. He retired from BellSouth after 40 years of service and was a member of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1905 and of The Very Reverend T.J. Larkin 4th Degree Assembly 322. He was a lifelong resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also, members of the Knights of Columbus Council No. 1905 and The Very Reverend T.J. Larkin 4th Degree Assembly 322 are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Friday, September 23, 2016 at 12noon. Visitation will be held at the church from 10am until Funeral time. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
