Byron Louis Boudreaux (Pops) earned his eternal wings on Thursday, September 27, 2012. Beloved husband of Christine Hammell Boudreaux for 34 years. Son of the late Louis Boudreaux and Joyce Bourge. Father of Casey (Gena), Cassie (Chris) and Cody. Grandfather of 2 beautiful granddaughters Caitlin (Monkey) Boudreaux and Alexis (Rabbit) Street. His extended children, Jared (Shantell) and Dana Ann. Paw Paw to Kobe, Baby Matt, Baby Gene, Tyler, Cody and D.J. Brother of Pricilla (Mensy), Rodney (Terry), Dwayne (Katie), Viveca (Rolland) and Aaron. Son-in-law of William (Billy) Hammell and Judy Hammell. Brother-in-law of Glen, Kevin (Melanie), Peggy (Steve) and Patrick (Lori). A native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. He loved to hunt, fish and tell jokes and he was known as Pops to many children and Paw Paw to their children. Relatives and friends of the family, also employees of Architectural Concrete, Home Depot Store #359 and Plaisance’s Bar are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 at 11AM. Interment will be private. Parlors will be open on Monday, October 1, 2012 from 6PM to 11PM and on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 8AM until funeral service time.
