Cameron Thomas Dugas, Sr.

Cameron T. Dugas, Sr. passed away on June 28, 2013 at the age of 80 years. Beloved husband of Merlyn Hebert Dugas. Father of Duane Joseph Dugas (Pamela), Cameron T. Dugas, Jr. (Lisa), Claudia D. Gassenberger (David) and Cynthia D. Soto (Horacio). Grandfather of David Gassenberger, Jr., Rosanna Soto, Brett and Cameron Dugas, III. Brother of Rudy Dugas, Janel Clement, the late Eldrid D. Gomez, Bernice D. Abadie, Dorothy D. Hunter, Alvin and Henry Dugas, Sr. Son of the late Henry and Eugenie Boudreaux Dugas. Son-in-law of the late Edgar and Alexina Adam Hebert.
He served his country in the U.S. Marine Corps. during the Korean War. He worked for Continental Can, Co., McDermott, Dugas Saw Sharpening, Dugas Bros. Fence, Co. and was a member of American Legion Post 222, VFW Post 6793 and Westwego Senior Citizens.
