Camille Ann Rolland

Camille Ann Rolland passed away on Sunday, May 15, 2011 at the age of 74. Beloved daughter of the late Camille L. Diaz and Marguerite Hebert Diaz. Mother of Stephen Paul Garcia, Michael Louis Garcia, Anne Marie Breaux, Amy Anne Rolland and the late David Patrick Garcia. Sister of Adrienne D. Gooden, Carolyn D. LeBlanc, Marguerite D. Aucoin, Thomas Diaz and Sidney Diaz. Survived by 12 Grandchildren, 7 Great Grandchildren, 10 Nieces and Nephews and 14 Great Nieces and Great Nephews. Camille was born in Napoleonville, LA and resided in Waggaman, LA for the past 5 years. She was the first nurse to graduate from Charity School of Nursing and to open the Emergency Room at West Jefferson Medical Center. The family would like to extend their sincere appreciation to the Doctors and Staff of West Jefferson Medical Center and Heart of Hospice for their love and care given to Camille during her illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, May 19, 2011 from 6PM until 12 Midnight. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Friday, May 20, 2011 from 8AM until 1PM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM.
