Captain Michael S. Collins

Captain Michael Stacey Collins, a resident of Waggaman, LA, died Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the age of 46. Beloved husband of Michelle Stewart Collins. Loving father of Michael Collins, Jr. and Lindsey Marie Collins. Stepfather of Curt T. Zeller and Scott Naquin. He will be sadly missed in a special way by Mama Judy Foret. Also survived by a host of brothers and sisters in law, nieces and nephews, family and friends. Son of the late Douglas F. Collins. Mr. Collins was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and was wounded during active duty. He was employed as a Master Tugboat Captain for 26 years.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Saturday, August 23, 2014 from 11 AM until 1 PM. The Memorial Service will follow at 1 PM. Interment will be private.
