Cara Elaine Davis

Cara Elaine Davis passed away on Friday, December 27, 2013 near Amarillo Texas driving on her way home to Boulder, CO with her dogs Rider and Roxy, and her pet sugar gliders. Beloved daughter of Ray Keith Davis and Elizabeth Rice Davis. Sister of Rachel Davis (Mark Bohenick), Art Davis, and Dean Davis. Granddaughter of Elaine and Gerald Rice, and the late Ray and Paula Davis. Stepgranddaughter of Mary Ann Laurenzano Davis. She will be dearly missed by Anne Rice, Toni and Randy Manning, Lou Ann & Bobby Lane, and her cousins, numerous friends and beloved pets. Age 29 years, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Boulder, Colorado for the past 7 years. Cara was an active member of Boulder’s Circus and Acro Yoga Community, who helped her learn to fly. She strove always to live mindfully and to love the life she lived. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend Funeral Services, MOTHE FUNERAL HOME 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, January 4, 2013 at 1PM. Visitation from 10AM until 1PM. Interment will be private.
