Carl John "C.J." Loria Ii

Carl John “C.J.” Loria II passed away peacefully on September 18, 2016 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of 44 years to Darlene Sanchez Loria. Loving father of Christie Loria Lauff (husband Kip) and Troy Loria. Much loved “Poppy” to Lexi, Kody and Julia Lauff.
Son of the late Carl J. Loria and Rosie Lee Hebert Loria. Also survived by his brother Brian Loria (wife Mary) and his nephew Matthew Loria (daughter Mellody).
C.J., a lifelong New Orleanian, graduated from Behrman High School, Class of 1964 and later served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War. He was an entrepreneur and operated his own business. He was an avid fisherman, loved listening to music, and enjoyed being with his family. He will be sadly missed.
Relatives, friends and members of Behrman High School, Class of 1964, fellow Aardvarks, Algiers Lions Club and the Jesuit High School community are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, September 23, 2016 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Lakelawn Mausoleum.
