Carmen Amadee Landeche Bourgeois entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, August 3, 2011 at the age of 95. Beloved wife of the late Floyd Bourgeois by second marriage and the late Norman Landeche, Sr. by first marriage. Daughter of the late Ambroise and Florence Amadee. Mother of Gwendolyn L. Miller (Husband Elmo), Margaret L. Templet (Husband, the late Harold), and Gerard A. Landeche, Sr. (Wife Sue) and the late Rose L. Miguez (Husband, the late William) and Norman E. Landeche, Jr. (Survived by wife Sharon). Sister of Evelyn Zeringue, Shirley Crocker, Msgr. Francis Amadee, Gerald Amadee and the late Clifton, Laurent, Whitney, Ernest, Nolan and Norman Amadee. Survived by 13 Grandchildren, 29 Great Grandchildren, 2 Great Great Grandchildren. Preceded in death by 1 deceased grandchild. Carmen was born in Lutcher, LA and was a resident of Gretna, LA for over 50 years. She was a member of AARP Chapter 2944. The family would like to extend a special appreciation to the staff of Belle Vue Living Center and to Canon Hospice for their love and care given to Carmen during her time of illness. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, August 8, 2011 from 9AM until 11AM.
