Carmen Songy Craig

Carmen Songy Craig entered into eternal rest on Feburary 9, 2015 at the age of 86. She was a lifelong resident of Jefferson Parish. Preceded in death by husband, Joseph Craig, Jr. Survived by 7 Children, Michael Craig (Elaine), Patrick Craig (Jean), Joanne Harmon (Johnny), Richard Craig, Nancy Firmin (Myron), Gayle Naquin and Andrew Craig.
Daughter of the late Gaston Songy, Sr and the late Magda Landaiche Songy.
Also, preceded in death by sisters, Elaine Deppa, Audrey Arceneaux, Camille Songy & Aline Branley, brother Gaston 'Ben' Songy, Jr.
Survived by sister Magda Burkhart & brother Alfred Songy, 16 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and mulitple nieces and nephews.
Retired from UNO Purchasing Department after 30 years of service.
Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial service on March 7th at 11:00 AM at Saint Angela Merici Church, 901 Beverly Garden Avenue, Metairie, Louisiana.
