Carmen Chauvin Gautreaux, passed away on Wednesday, March 2, 2011 age 80. Beloved wife of the late Louis J. Hindelang, Jr., from her first marriage of 30 years and the late Harold P. Gautreaux from her second marriage of 12 years. Mother of Debra H. Giroir, Kay H. Bedell (husband David), and Michelle H. Shimp (husband Kevin). Daughter of the late Camille and Vivian Chauvin. Sister of Marie Jones, Carlos and Camille Chauvin, Jr., and the late Ruben Chauvin. Grandmother of Brian Carra, Holly and Abigail Shimp. Great-grandmother of Caelan Carra. A native of Westwego, LA and a resident of Gretna, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 1 PM. Interment will follow in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery , Gretna , LA. Visitation will be held from 10 AM until 1 PM.
