Carol Ann (Farizo) Primo

Carol Ann (Farizo) Primo, age 73 years, entered peacefully into Heaven on Tuesday, September 27, 2016. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 53 years, Sherard “Earl” Primo. Loving mother of Doctor Earl J. “Tiger” Primo (Rebecca) and Lori P. Reid (Michael). A very proud grandmother of 4 Grandchildren, Codey B. Eiswirth, Zachary J. Primo, Cullen M. Reid and Caiden J. Reid. Carol was the daughter of the late Anna Hunter Farizo and Joseph Farizo, Sr. Beloved sister of Richard G. “Ricky” Farizo (Paula), Shirley Farizo Giroir (the late Ronald) and Joseph “Buck” Farizo (the late Janet). She is preceded in death by Lois Farizo and Patricia F. Heiden (Brian). “Aunt” Carol will be remembered by a host of nieces and nephews. Carol was a native of Harvey, LA and a longtime resident of Marrero, LA. Carol enjoyed cooking, baking, handiwork, traveling (especially Disney World) and spending time with her family. Even throughout her health struggles, Carol always inspired everyone with her courage. Primo family wishes to thank everyone for their generous support and prayers. We also express our gratitude to Doctors Shanableh, Kerut, Borron and McKinnie and their staff for their compassion and care she received. Thanks to West Jefferson Hospital (CCU) for their comfort and professionalism in her final hours. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at St. Rosalie Catholic Church, 2nd Avenue, Harvey, LA on Friday, September 30, 2016 from 11AM until 12:30PM. A recitation of the Holy Rosary will take place at 12 Noon. A Memorial Funeral Mass will begin at 12:30PM. Interment will be privately held. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital would be very much appreciated. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.
