Carol Joseph Chiasson

Carol Joseph Chiasson, a native of Chackbay, LA and resident of Harvey, LA, passed away on October 17, 2014 at his residence. He was 64 years of age. Beloved husband of 41 years to Marylou Rodgers Chiasson. Father of Vincent J. Chiasson (Heather) and Connie Chiasson Camus. Grandfather of Aaron Winkles, Jayson and Jacob Camus, Caitlyn and Madison Chiasson. Son of Elva Braud Ronquille and the late Fernand Chiasson. Son-in-law of the late Melody and James Rodgers. Brother of Larry (Janet), Timmy and Ernest Chiasson, Joyce Chiasson, Nancy Chiasson Collins, Dorothy Chiasson Philips (Tom), Mary Chiasson Stelley (Michael), the late Benny and Tommy Chiasson. Brother-in-law of Brenda Rodgers Griffith (Ricky) and Lillian Rodgers. Godfather of Allison Chiasson Tynes and Chad Braud. He is preceded in death by his niece, two brothers-in-law and is survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Thursday, October 23, 2014 from 5 PM to 9 PM. Services will be held for 7 PM. In lieu of flowers, please consider donations to the family to help with funeral expenses.
