Carol Fabian Dugas

Carol Fabian Dugas, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in her sleep, joining her loving husband and best friend of 60 years, Bertrand A. Dugas, Jr., in their heavenly home. Carol was the cherished daughter of Herman Louis Fabian and Audrey Daigle Fabian Harlan. 

She is survived by her devoted son, Bertrand A. Dugas III (Kelli), her treasured grandchildren Devin Dugas (Olivia) and Dustin Dugas, and her adored great-grandchildren, Cassandra and Rhyder Dugas. Carol leaves behind a legacy of love and many other family members who will miss her dearly. 

Carol found immense joy in riding motorcycles with her husband, son, and many friends. Her greatest pride and joy were her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, for whom she was the biggest cheerleader. Carol loved them bigger than life itself. 

A heartfelt thank you to the staff at St. Catherine’s Hospice and Ocshner Oncology. 

Carol's loving spirit and vibrant presence will be deeply missed, as will her infectious and unique laugh, but her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved her. 

Family and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, Louisiana on Saturday, June 29, 2024 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, Louisiana.
