Caroline Menendez Baril

Caroline Menendez Baril, age 89 years, born in New Orleans, LA and resided in Buras, LA for 43 years, passed away on Thursday, June 30, 2011. She was the wife of the late Emanuel Joseph Baril and beloved mother of Pamela Baril Prest (Robert). Daughter of the late Alejandro Garcia Menendez and Hazel Williams. Sister to Sandy Menendez Alphanso (Tommy) and the late Alfred Menendez (Alice), Alex Menendez (Angeline), Raymond Menendez (Pearl), Jack Menendez (Nancy), Elvira Menendez Buras (Allen) and Elwood Menendez (Delores). Proud grandmother to Byron Prest (Donna), Kirk Prest (Denise), Ron Prest (Leslie) and Kyle Prest (Dani Leigh). Great-grandmother to Ashley Prest, Blake Prest, Jessica Prest, Ryan Prest, Kirk Prest, Jr., Kohl Prest, Luke Prest and great-great-grandmother to Blaise Frisch. She was also a loving aunt to many nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the caring staff of Riverbend Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their most affectionate care and support to Caroline and her family for the past two and a half years. Friends and family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, July 5, 2011 from 9 AM to 1 PM.
