Caroline Juanita Hewson Tucker

November 8, 1936 — January 13, 2023

Caroline Juanita Hewson Tucker was born on 11/08/1936 in Snohomish, Washington to her now deceased parents, Mary Amelia Merten Hewson and Emory Walter Hewson. For most of her young life she was raised on a farm with her five siblings in the state of WA. Carol, which she liked to be called, was the youngest of the six children. She could always tell the best farm stories and always made her children laugh at how she drove the farm pickup at the age of 8 years old even though it was a standard on the column. She graduated from Pine City High School and she was a perfectionist for the English language. She never liked when someone didn’t speak proper English. She would always correct you. She married her husband, Buddy Lee Tucker on January 28, 1955 and they had three children, Michael David Tucker, Julie Tucker Fernandez (David) and Sandra Lee Tucker. She has four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Her husband Bud had just recently passed away in January of 2021. Carol loved NFL football and watched as many games as she could. She was a die-hard Saints fan and had season tickets for many years. She co-owned and worked side by side with her husband with the three companies that they owned and operated, Lighting Sales & Design, Inc., Acadian Plastics, Inc. and Aquarius Marble, Inc. Carol peacefully passed away in her sleep on Friday, January 13th at her home in Terrytown where she has lived for the past sixty years. She will truly be missed by all that knew her. Services will be privately held.
