Caroline “Mimi” Ripp Willoz entered into Eternal Rest on June 27, 2011 at 4:00 AM. She was 77 years of age and resided in Westwego, LA. Daughter of the late Walter T. Pope and Sadie Bonvillian Pope. Wife of the late Roderick Ripp. Mother of Rickey (Carol), Bobby (Mary), Randy, Tommy (Janet), Carroll and David Ripp, Annette LaPorte (Joseph), Martha Wiseman (Frankie) and the late Caroline “Doodie” Ripp. Survived by 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. Sister of Walter T. Pope, Jr. Sister-in-law of Gaynelle Smith, Anne and Shirley Ripp. She retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office and was a member of the Fraternal Order of Police.
