Carolyn Bergeron

Carolyn Bergeron, born July 13, 1942 entered into eternal rest on Wednesday, July19, 2023 at the age of 81.  Beloved wife of 52 years to Donald Bergeron.  Loving and devoted mother of Terri Comeaux Hunter (Tobey Hunter) and Kay Bergeron Schmitt (Louis Schmitt).  Loving Grandmother of Lauren Hunter Foltz (Dennis Foltz), Lana Hunter Schiro (Anthony Schiro), Joshua Hunter, Thomas Hunter, Caroline Schmitt, Marissa Schmitt and Rachel Schmitt.  Beloved Great Grandmother of Helena Hunter, Cameron Foltz, Olivia Foltz, Benjamin Schiro and Miles Schiro.  Daughter of the late Rita Joubert Duplantis and sister of the late Crystal Duplantis Morrison and Victor Duplantis. Carolyn is preceded in death by her precious and sweet canine companion, Chi-Chi.  Carolyn retired from AT&T and Charbonnet Law Firm.  She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, resided in Harvey, Louisiana but she loved with all her heart, Las Vegas.  Her greatest joy in life was spending time with her family and all of her grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, Louisiana on Friday, July 28, 2023 from 11AM until 1PM.  A Memorial Mass will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 1PM.  A Private Interment will be held at a later date.  Family and friends may offer condolences at mothefunerals.com.
