Carolyn Ann Smith Boone

Carolyn Ann Smith Boone entered into eternal rest on Thursday, October 30, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Beaumont, TX on November 16, 1951 to Palmer and Lilla Mae Craig Smith, their only child. Carolyn is the beloved wife, best friend and soul mate of Jeffery P. Boone for 44 loving years. She is the loving, awesome and devoted mother of Brandon Paul Boone. She is also survived by her first cousin, Darla Jean Smith of St. Louis, Missouri. Carolyn grew up in Buras, LA. She loved to sew, she was an awesome cook, loved working in her flower beds, loved to fish and was a great bowler, in which she beat her husband in many matches! She loved riding motorcycles. She once rode to Florida and back being the only wife on the trip to do so. She was a real “motorcycle momma” and great organizer. A Celebration of her Life will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, November 8, 2014 from 2PM until 5PM. Memorial Services will be held in the Chapel at the funeral home on Saturday at 5PM. Carolyn was loving, faithful, trustworthy, hardworking, compassionate, tender hearted and a friend to all until the end.
