Carroll Anthony Pons Jr.

Carroll Anthony Pons, Jr., passed away at the age of 62 on May 19, 2024. Carroll is survived by his wife, Angie; his children: Jessica (Alex) and Cody (Michelle); and three granddaughters: Aubree, Rylee, and Georgia. He is preceded in death by his mother and father Angelina and Carroll Pons, Sr. 

Carroll was born on November 16, 1961. He was a graduate of River Oaks Academy and began his career with Plaquemines Parish Government. Carroll worked for the Heavy Equipment Department for many years before becoming superintendent of the department. After working for over thirty years in the same department Carroll retired in 2009. 

Carroll was a devoted husband to his wife Angie for 37 years. His love for his wife was nothing compared to the love he had for his grandchildren. Carroll also loved spending quality time with his friends. His most memorable moments can be shared between himself and his best friend, Chris Guidry, also known as, Buddy Love. 

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 11 AM. Interment Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM. 

In lieu of flowers, please make memorial donations to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
