Catherine Loyacano

Catherine "Cathy" Loyacano, age 74, passed away on August 14, 2016. Beloved mother of Amy DeLong (Matt), grandmother of Emily Hephner (Sean), and sister of Kitty Boyles (Robert). Daughter of the late George and Vivian Clement. Cathy was a registered nurse who worked for the majority of her career at West Jefferson Medical Center. She was passionate about meeting the needs of her patients and their families. Her interests included gardening and volunteering for the Plaquemines Animal Welfare Society. Cathy graduated from West Jefferson High School and Delgado Community College Nursing Program.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 24, 2016 from 10 AM until Memorial Service time at 11 AM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made to either St. Jude's Children's Hospital, Jefferson Parish Animal Shelter, Plaquemines Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of which Cathy was a longtime supporter.
