Catherine Rose Link Pennison

Catherine Rose Link Pennison, 70, passed away peacefully on April 22, 2015. She came into this world on April 17, 1945 in New Orleans, LA to the late Everett O. Link Sr. and Giovannina Salvaggio Link. Catherine graduated from R.E. Rabouin High School in 1963 and worked as a paraprofessional for the New Orleans Public School System for almost 30 years. She is survived by her husband, Thomas J. Pennison Sr. and children Thomas J. Pennison Jr. (Karyn Shultz Pennison) and Melanie C. Pennison and grandson Andrew T. Pennison. Catherine is also survived by her four siblings, Jeanne L. Gaspard, Everett O. Link Jr., Cecelia L. English, and Jennie L. Steward and many loving nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd, Marrero, LA on Friday, April 24th from 6pm until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday April 25th from 8AM until 10AM. A funeral Mass will be held at St. Bonaventure Catholic Church, 329 S. Jamie Blvd, Avondale, LA on Saturday April 25th at 10:30AM. Internment will proceed the funeral Mass at St. Joseph Cemetery, 2220 Washington Ave, New Orleans, LA.
