Catherine Marie Tripp

Catherine Marie Tripp passed away on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 at the age of 84. Beloved wife of the late Edward Lee Tripp, Sr. Mother of Edward Lee Tripp, Jr. (Dawn), David Tripp (Sheila), and the late Elaine Tripp Bailey. Daughter of the late Gladys and Andrew McCloskey. Sister of Gerald McCloskey, Joy Sansone, Eileen Borne, Deborah Richard and the late Charles McCloskey and Mary Ellen Raffo. Grandmother of Rachel DePriest (Scott), Edward Tripp III, (Melissa), Patrick Murphy (Gina), Brittany Tripp and Andrew Murphy (Mallory). Also survived by 14 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was an avid traveler and an award-winning quilter. She was a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Carriere, MS. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service at Mothe Funeral Home, 1300 Vallette St, Algiers, LA on Saturday, June 10, 2023 at 11am.
