Celestine R. Dufrene

Celestine R. Dufrene entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 13, 2014 at the age of 91. Beloved and loving wife of 73 years to the late Ashton J. Dufrene. Daughter of the late Harris Dufren and Lucia Plaisance Dufren. Beloved and devoted mother of Johnny Dufrene (Wife Trudy), Will Dufrene (Wife Toni), Karl Dufrene (Wife Paulette), Rachel LeBlanc, Penny Dufrene Reyer and the late AJ Dufrene (Survived by wife Phyllis). Celestine is the oldest of 13 siblings; 5 whom are surviving and 7 whom have predeceased her. She is survived by 17 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She was born in Gheens, LA and was a resident of Bay St. Louis, Mississippi. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, June 19, 2014 from 9AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
