Charlene Wininger Kline

Charlene Wininger Kline, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 3, 2025 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Capt. Alvin F. Kline Sr. for 62 years. Mother of Alvin “Chip” Floyd Kline, Jr., the late Janine Kline Webb (Mark), William “Rusty” Charles Kline (Christie), and Dana Blondiau (Greg). Daughter of the late Emelda Dallam Wininger and the late Charles Wininger. Sister of Linda Wininger, the late Connie Wininger Delate (Don) and the late Charles Wininger (Gail). Grandmother of Ashton Kline Galt (Josh), Beryl Kline Plaisance (Cameron), Taylor Champagne Kline (Carlee), Brennan Alexander Webb, Hailey Elizabeth Kline, Zachary Mark Webb (Christy), and William Lamar Kline. Great grandmother of Tucker, Ella, Gracie, Cameron, Stella, and Colt. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews. She was a graduate of Martin Behrman Highschool. She had a strong love for adventure and the outdoors, including the beach, fishing, and scuba diving. She loved gathering around family and watching all her great grandchildren play. Affectionately known as “Gram” (Grammy) to her grandchildren and great grandchildren, her playful banter will be missed. She was a native of Algiers, La and a resident of Gretna, La for over 40 years. Private services will be held for immediate family.
