Charlene Tastet Stein

Charlene Tastet Stein passed away on August 6, 2013 at the age of 63 years. Beloved wife of Harris P. Stein, Sr. Loving mother of Harris P. Stein, Jr. (wife, Wendy) and Steven M. Stein, Sr. (wife, Nicole). Grandmother of Brittanie, Macy, Steven Michael Jr. and Dylan. Sister of Roy J. “Brother” Tastet and Irene Ann Henning. Daughter of the late Roy P. and Irene Ocman Tastet. Also survived by many other relatives and friends.
She retired as an accountant in the marine industry. She served her community as a longtime supporter of the Archbishop Shaw High School band, the West Jefferson High School Booster Club and the Desk and Derrick Club. She was once active in the Immaculate Conception Church Altar Society and was past president of the Ladies Auxilary of Immaculata K of C Council No. 4222. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Carrington Place for their care and compassion.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Guardian Angels Catholic Church, 1701 Bridge City Avenue in Bridge City, LA on Friday, August 9, 2013 from 11 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
