Charles "Chuck" Bowen

Charles R. “Chuck” Bowen passed away on March 31, 2011at the age of 64 years. Beloved husband of Ernestine Higginbotham Bowen. Father of Ernestine “Tina” Velasquez, George Edward Jurkiewicz and Lorena Arciga. Son of the late Jennie and Charles Roland Bowen. Brother of Barbara and Phyllis. Also survived by Monica, Lucky, Aaron, other relatives, friends and co-workers. He was a resident of Algiers, LA, was employed at Laitram Machine Shop and retired from the U.S. Navy after serving his country for 20 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, April 8, 2011 from 11 AM to 1 PM.
