Charles "Buddy" Joseph Duett

Charles “Buddy” Joseph Duett entered into eternal rest on Friday, December 8, 2023. Beloved husband of Olive “Tootie” Day Duett. Father of Valerie Camardelle (Ellis) and the late Denise Tew (Larry). Grandfather of Angelique Camardelle Patrick Camardelle, Kaitlin Camardelle, and Sara Tew. Great-grandfather of Camden and Ellie Waits. Son of the late Marie L. Duett and Leo W. Duett. Brother of the late Leo N. Duett (Mildred) and Eva Marie Champagne (Oscar). Also survived by 8 in-laws and numerous nieces and nephews. Age 84 years and a lifelong resident of Westwego, LA. Buddy spent his career as a washer and dryer repairman. He was an avid pleasure pilot having enjoyed many years flying his own plane as well as driving his antique mustang more recently. He will be fondly remembered and deeply missed by all.

Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, December 15, 2023 at 11 AM. Interment Our Lady of Prompt Succor Mausoleum, Westwego, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until 11 AM.
