Charles James Chick

Charles James Chick passed away on Tuesday, May 27, 2014 at the age of 72. Loving father of Christine Chick, Theresa Jessica Taylor (Michael), Ruark W. Chick (Jennifer), and Mary Chick Downie (Scott). Former husband of the late Louise Ringenberg Chick. Son of the late Alice McElroy Manning and stepson of the late Charles Manning. Brother of William Chick, Cynthia Murrow (Peter), and the late Anne Dominguez (late Ernest). Grandfather of Danielle, Troy, Christopher, Matthew, Jacob, Caroline, Alyssa, and Ryan. Great grandfather of Sylas. A native of New Orleans, and most recently a resident of Bogalusa, LA since Hurricane Katrina. He retired after 35 years as a small business owner. He had a passion for science, non-fiction science publications and mechanically inclined to tinker with machines of all kinds. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Sunday, June 1, 2014 at 3 PM.
