Charles Louis Durel, Jr.

Charles Louis Durel Jr. passed away on August 1, 2015 at the age of 70 years. Beloved husband of Judith Stewart Durel. Father of Tracy Durel (Floyd “Bubba” St. Germain) and Todd Durel (Heather). Grandfather of Kayla, Amber, Paige, Shelby, Max and Brooklyne. Sister of Judy Durel Bauman (the late Daniel) and David Durel (Pam). Also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
Charles served his country in the U.S. Navy, serving in Okinawa, Japan, New Zealand and the South Pole and later retired from the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office as a Crime Scene Technician. He enjoyed working with wood and loved spending time with his family. He will be sadly missed.
