Charles A. Husson

Charles A. Husson, Jr. died on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the age of 82. Loving husband of Joyce LeBlanc Husson for 57 years. Son of the late Charles Husson, Sr. .and Amelia Bush Currault. Father of Charles Husson, III (Frances), Roxanne Flom (Michael) and Wade Husson (Lisa). Grandfather of Areka Gomez (Alonzo), Brandi Davidson (Christopher), Brittany Husson (Andrew) and Kaylin Flom (Sean). Great Grandfather of Autumn Davidson, Peyton and Brianna Gomez. Also survived by a sister-in-law, brother-in-law and many nieces, nephews and cousins. He was a veteran of the United States Army and Marines. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3121 and the American Legion Post 222 for 44 years. Mr. Husson retired from Continental Can Company and worked at Zatarains. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Monday, January 30, 2012 from 6PM until 10PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday from 9AM until 1PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 610 Sixth Street, Gretna, LA on Tuesday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
