Charles Rene Rousselle

Charles Rene Rousselle, born in Nairn, La and longtime resident of Belle Chasse, La entered into eternal rest on May 25, 2016. Beloved husband of Loyce Vallot Rousselle for 65 years. Loving father of Danny Rousselle (Karen), Gregg Rousselle (Trudy) and Scott Rousselle (Trish). Grandfather of Dani Leigh, Duffy, Danica, Gregg, Conard, Colby, Cody, Carley and Shea. Great grandfather of Kohl, Luke, Kendyl, Karsyn, Ryder, Taylor, Seth, Jena, Brennan, Hunter, and Kiley. Also survived by 1 step grandchild and 2 step great grandchildren. Brother of the late Dolores Barrois, Evelyn Cosse, James "Jim" Rousselle, Elaine "Doucie" Boyd, Wilbur Rousselle, Calvin Rousselle, James "Robert" Boyd. Son of Emma Treadaway Rousselle and Rene' Rousselle. He served his country in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, achieving the rank of Sergeant. Retired from Cooper Energy Services as a Field Service Manager. Longtime member, head parker, assistant to the national director with Cruisin' Cajuns RV Club. He also leaves behind nieces, nephews, other family and friends to cherish his memory.
