Charles “Charlie” Shaw, age 69 entered peacefully into eternal rest on Monday, November 9, 2015. Beloved and loving husband of Gwendlyn E. Shaw for 29 years. Loving father of George Xia, Janet Deocampo and Nina Shaw. Beloved grandfather of Jevin Dubois and Jase Dubois. He is survived by 1 sister, 2 brothers and many nieces and nephews. Charlie is preceded in death by his parents and 2 brothers. He was born in Shanghai, China and a resident of Terrytown, LA for 15 years. Charlie is owner and operator of Mardi Gras Wholesale in Gretna, LA for 30 years. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, November 11, 2015 from 6PM until 8PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, November 12, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be held privately at a later date.
