Charles C. "Chuck" Ruiz

Charles C. “Chuck” Ruiz passed away on March 7, 2013 at the age of 82 years. Beloved son of the late Aline Olsen Ruiz and Clarence Penrose Ruiz. Brother of the late Magdalene R. May and William J. Ruiz. Uncle of Patricia M. Brehm (Michael), Catherine M. Piacun (Thomas) and Annette M. Schiro (Edward). Great-uncle of Aline E. Piacun, Lauren A. Schiro and Zachary C. Schiro. Dear friend of Joanne Berluchaux.
Chuck majored in Mathematics at L.S.U. and later retired as an accountant with Louisiana Gas Services. He was a lifelong member and supporter of Holy Name of Mary Church. The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Jo Ellen Smith Living Center and to Louisiana Hospice of Greater New Orleans for their compassion and care.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, March 12, 2013 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment McDonogh Cemetery.
