Charlotte Adrian Barnes Bynum

Charlotte Adrian Barnes Bynum, 86, passed away peacefully at her home in Gretna, Louisiana, on December 15, 2015. Born May 24, 1929, in New Orleans, Louisiana, she attended Francis T. Nicholls High School and graduated from Touro Infirmary School of Nursing. She is preceded in death by husband Gordon Leigh, parents Sidney William and Doskye Townsend Barnes, sisters Wille Dee Ward and Doskye Caldwell, and brother Sidney Barnes. Survived by children Charlotte, Gordon William (and wife Nancy) and Robert, nieces and nephews, she was dearly loved and will be greatly missed. Ceremony and internment will be private. Arrangements are by Mothe Funerals of Gretna, Louisiana. Those wishing to express their condolences may donate to a charity of their preference.
