Christina Parks Fleming

Christina Parks Fleming passed away peacefully on October 2, 2024 at the age of 76 years. Wife of the late Raymond G. Fleming, Sr. Mother of Janet Marmillion Lambert and Kevin Marmillion. Stepmother of Rita Fleming, Rhonda Brunette, and Raymond Fleming, Jr. Daughter of the late Charles O. Parks and Elaine W. Parks. Sister of CAPT Kenneth “Kilo” Parks (U.S.N. Ret.) (Iona) of Chesapeake, VA, the late Dr. Fr. Jonathan D. Parks S.D.B., PhD, and Joseph A. Parks. Half-sister of Charlene Landes, Eileen Vucinovich, and Charles O. Parks, Jr. Grandmother of Kenneth P. Lambert (Mickayla). Great Grandmother of Wyatt R. Lambert and Halen R. Lambert. Aunt of Conor C. Parks (Karmen).

After working for BellSouth, Chris worked for West Jefferson Medical Center for 36 years. She was a member of the St. Rosalie Altar Society and the Fr. Jonathan D. Parks, S.D.B. Knights of Columbus Women’s Auxiliary. She enjoyed playing Po-Ke-No on Wednesdays, doing her puzzles, and having lunch with her friends. 

Family and friends are invited to gather at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church on Saturday, November 2, 2024 from 10 am to 12 noon. A Memorial Mass will follow at the Church. Interment will take place at Westlawn Memorial Park, 1225 Whitney Avenue, Gretna, LA for 2 pm.
