Christine Roberta Kline Connelly passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 at the age of 69 years. Loving wife of Francis Joseph Connelly who preceded her in death 2 years ago. Mother of James “Pete” Francis Connelly, Matthew Francis Connelly (Amanda), Sharon Marie Connelly (Mark) and Patricia Ann Connelly. Daughter of the late Thomas A. Kline Sr and Loretta Bookheimer Kline. Daughter-in-law of the late Francis A. Connelly and Marie Asman Connelly. Sister of Joanne Clark (William), Bernadette Marrama, Barbara Jo Tait (Barry), Gregory Kline, Suzin Kline and Pat Riordan. Preceded in death by her brother, Thomas A. Kline, Jr and sister, Loretta Riordan. Sister-in-law of Bob Connelly (Karen), Jerry Connelly (Sue), Maureen Connelly, Karen Connelly McKee and Judy Connelly. Grandmother of Savannah Newby, Baylee Newby, Warren “Mikey” Newby, Brooklyn Newby, Annabelle Labure, Landon Labure, Ella Connelly and Boyd Connelly. Christine was born on September 1, 1952 in Philadelphia, PA. She and her husband moved to Louisiana in the late 1970s and has called Terrytown, LA home ever since. She was a long time employee of Rainbow Automotive, Rainbow Insurance Company and TLC Inc until her retirement. She was a devoted member of Christ the King Church. She was active with the Family Life Committee, Altar Servers, Knights of Columbus Women’s Auxiliary and Eucharistic Minister. Christine was a wife, mother, grandmother and always put the needs of her family first. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Memorial Mass at Christ the King Catholic Church, 535 Deerfield Rd., Terrytown, LA on Saturday, June 11, 2022 at 1pm. A Memorial Visitation will be held at the church from 11am until 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
