Christopher Paul Blanchard

August 25, 1984 — July 4, 2014

Christopher Paul Blanchard left his earthly body on Friday, July 4, 2014 at the age of 29. Beloved husband of Cerissa Black Blanchard and adored father to their son, Lyric Christopher Blanchard. He was born August 25, 1984 to his parents, Charee Z. Fabiano (Husband August J. Fabiano, Jr.) and the late Robert P. Blanchard (Survived by wife Sibyl B. Blanchard). Much loved brother of Andrew S. Blanchard, Katie F. Davis (Husband James E. Davis), Kelsey Gibson, Edward and Hope Bartholomew and the late David J. Fabiano. Masonic Brother of Anthony Freeze. Christopher was a lifelong resident of Plaquemines Parish. He was an enjoyer of the land and sea, instilled by his grandparents, Carloline Blanchard, Harry H. “Smily” Zwick, Roberta Smith, August J. Fabiano, Sr. and the late Vida G. Hughes and the late Moise “Bee” Blanchard, Jr. Christopher is also survived and loved by numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins, Ronald D. Black, Sharon “Kay” Ballay, Elijah O. Henry and Addison C. LeJeune. Son-in-law of Raymond “Tommy” Black and Debra Cannon. Grandson-in-law of Mary Black and the late Richard Black. Brother-in-law of Alisha Cannon and Cory Coon. He graduated from Buras High School, Class of 2002. He was loved by all who knew him throughout his journey in life and upon the sea. He was USCG Licensed Capitan for Gulf Logistics Operating, Y&S Marine and Candy Fleet. He was a member of Masonic Lodges Dante #174 and Germania #46 F&AM. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Friday, July 11, 2014 from 8:30AM until 11AM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Friday at 11AM. Interment will be in St. Patrick Mausoleum, Port Sulphur, LA.
