Cindy Morales Ribaul, age 53, passed away on Thursday, March 31, 2016 at home in Richmond, Texas surrounded by her family. Cindy is survived by her husband of 26 years, Timothy J. Ribaul; son Alexander E. Shilling; daughter-in-law Brittany A. Shilling; granddaughter Avery J. Shilling; parents Roger G. Morales and Diane M. Morales; brother Timothy E. Morales and sister-in-law Donna M. Morales; sister-in-law Debra R. Ducote and brother-in-law Leon A. Ribaul, Jr. (Shawn); numerous nieces and nephews and many close friends. Cindy was born in Marrero, LA, but spent much of her life in Denver, CO, Sugar Land, TX and Richmond, TX. Cindy graduated from Patterson High School in Patterson, LA and Houston Community College in Houston, TX. Cindy spent many years as a preschool teacher and, later in life, was the Child Care Coordinator for St. Thomas More Catholic Church in Centennial, CO. Cindy had a passion for helping children and enjoyed traveling, but most of all loved to dance, hence her nickname “Dancing Queen”. She had a zest for life, always wore a beautiful smile, loved to laugh, brought happiness to everyone she came in contact with and lived life to the fullest every day. Cindy fought a courageous battle against cancer during which she never worried about herself. Instead, she only worried about her family. As time to return home to God neared, she shared her final wishes with her husband using three simple words “Don’t be sad”.
