Claire Harrison LeBlanc peacefully entered into eternal rest on Sunday, August 16, 2015 at the age of 71surrounded by her loving family. Beloved wife of Robert Joseph LeBlanc for 49 years. Loving mother of Mark Abel LeBlanc (Robin Perrodin and her son, Alex Christofi), Michael James LeBlanc (Jill) and Brian Robert LeBlanc (Heather). Beloved grandmother of Payton Camille LeBlanc, James Bryce Atwood, Julia Marielle LeBlanc, Vivienne Estelle LeBlanc and Genevieve Chancellor LeBlanc. Claire was preceded in death by her parents, Marion Chancellor Harrison and James Henry Harrison; her father-in-law, Abel Joseph LeBlanc and her mother-in-law, Idellia Veronica Brown LeBlanc. She was born in New Orleans and was a resident of Port Sulphur. Claire was a Teacher, Moderator, Student Activities Director and Alumni Events Coordinator for 34 years at Brother Martin High School. Family and friends, also faculty and staff of Brother Martin High School are invited to attend the visitation in James B. Branton Chapel of Brother Martin High School, 4401 Elysian Fields Avenue, New Orleans, LA on Saturday, August 22, 2015 from 10AM until Noon. A Funeral Mass will take place in James B. Branton Chapel of Brother Martin High School on Saturday at Noon. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. MOTHE FUNERAL HOME is in charge of arrangements.
