Claude Joseph Ancar

Claude Joseph "Bull Moose" Ancar walked into heaven with Jesus on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the age of 71. Born April 16, 1943 to wonderful parents, the late Rene and Thelma Ancar. Fisherman by trade and an exceptional gardener. He was a member of Knights of Columbus Council No. 8615 for many years. Beloved husband of Mary Ancar for 51 years. Glorious father of Angela Sylve, Paula LaCombe (Adam), Kimberly Magee (Chris), and Tina Ancar. Sensational grandfather of Natasha Minor (Edward), Henry Baker Jr., Chris Magee Jr., Christian Magee, Alix LaCombe, Alyssa Ratcliff, and the late Abby LaCombe. Great Grandfather of Alexis Baker and the late Alex Baker. Brother of Hazel, Earline, Claudie, Billy Jr., Connie, Ilene, and the late Trisa Barthelemy. He leaves to mourn a host of loving nieces, nephews, cousins and many many inspirational friends and neighbors. Special thanks to Knights of Columbus Council No. 8615 and its members, Eagen Home Health Care and staff, Ochsner Same Day Surgery, and ICU nurses and especially thanks to Julie, Charlotte, and Taisha for all of their loving care and support. All are invited for a Memorial Service on Wednesday, March 11, 2015 at St. Cletus Catholic Church, 3600 Claire St, Gretna, LA at 11am. Repass will follow at the KC Hall.
