Clebert Joseph “Bear” Bourgeois died December 7, 2011 at 12:05 AM at the age of 44. Son of Dorothy Cheramie Powell and the late Emile Bourgeois. Brother of Adam Bourgeois, Sydney Jenskey (Andy), Amy Stein (John), and Sherri Powell, and the late Charles Bourgeois and Gus Powell. Godfather of Brenda Powell and Marcus Stein. Grandson of the late Jack Cheramie, Sr. and Sydney Guidry Cheramie.
Also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, and other relatives and friends. He was a resident of Gretna, LA for 44 years and member of the Knights of Columbus Archbishop Blenk Council 1905. He worked at ARC of Gretna, the Gretna Market, and he was a Volunteer Firefighter for Gould Fire Company #2 of Gretna. Funeral Services were held privately.
