Clifford J. Autin, Jr.

Clifford Joseph Autin Jr., age 79, went to be with our Lord on May 23, 2015 surrounded by his loving family. Beloved husband of Diane Miller Autin. Father of Mark Edward Autin, Clifford Joseph Autin III (Colleen Finan), Annette Kraft Miller, Brian Anthony Kraft (Jackie Martinez) and Mark Christopher Kraft (Kerri Bryant).
Grandfather of Timothy Patrick Autin, Nicole Elizabeth Autin, Kenny Lee Miller (Adrianna), Rebecca Ann Miller, Christine Marie Miller, Tyler John Miller, Brittany Elizabeth Kraft, Caleb Curtis Kraft, Jacob Alexander Kraft and Faith Ann Kraft. Great-grandfather of Jamie Elizabeth Pigot. Also survived by sister-in-law Joan Brown and numerous nieces and nephews.
Mr. Autin was born in Westwego and resided there. He graduated in 1954 from Westwego High School and was a career employee of Avondale Shipyard, retiring from there as Superintendent after 45 years of loyal service. He will be remembered by friends and family as generous, kind-hearted and good-natured. He was always willing to help others without even being asked. He loved golf and fixing and building things. Most of all, he loved his family and people, always finding the good in others. His family and friends adored him and will miss him greatly.
