Clyde Calvin Poland entered into eternal rest on Friday, June 10, 2011 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of Lena Vinci Poland for 50 years. Father of Michael Poland, Johnny Poland (Wife Cindy), Teresa Farris (Husband Gary), Cynthia Burmaster (Husband Mitchell), Patricia Poland, Glenda Treme’ (Husband Josh) and Guy Poland. Brother of Tommy Poland, Wayne Poland, Ernie Poland, Claudine Brown, Patsy Bynum and the late Betty Traylor. Clyde is also survived by 19 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews. Clyde is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Edna Poland. He was born in Princeton, LA and was a resident of Terrytown, LA for the past 12 years. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation and “thank you” to the Doctors and Staff at Heart of Hospice for their love and care given to Clyde during his illness. Relatives and friends are invited to the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 from 11AM until 1PM.
