Colin James Hedlund

Colin James Hedlund passed peacefully on Saturday, June 23, 2012. Colin is survived by his loving wife of 39 wonderful years, Mollie Sulzer Hedlund, his daughter Christy, his three sons Scott, Greg, and Ryan, his daughter-in-law Kathryn, and his parents Arnold and Pat Hedlund. Born in Cambridge, MA, Colin graduated from Isidore Newman High School in New Orleans, then attended Tulane and UNO before graduating from LSU Law School in 1972. Colin worked his way through school as a waiter in many of New Orleans’ finest restaurants. He worked for many years for FNBC before taking charge of the corporate trust department at Hancock Bank. A lover of history, nature, travel and fine dining, Colin’s greatest pleasure was sharing these interests with his family.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, June 27, 2012 at 11 AM. Interment, St. Patrick Cemetery #1, New Orleans. Parlors will be open on Tuesday, June 26, 2012 from 6 PM until 9 PM and again Wednesday from 8 AM until 11 AM.
