Collins P. "Pip" Arcement Sr.

Collins P. “Pip” Arcement Sr. passed away on September 25, 2015 at the age of 85 years. Beloved husband of 62 years to Barbara Gilchrist Arcement. Father of Colleen Arcement Guillot, Collins P. Arcement Jr. (Gloria) and Denise C. Arcement (Jay Bowman). Grandfather of Tori Black (Kane), Kristin Arcement, Raianne Yglesias (Micah), Vicki Rodgers (Kevin) and the late Raimee Guillot and Raymond Guillot Jr. Great-grandfather of Kade, Elijah, Haley, Kristofer, Kullen, Kylah, Kinsley and Kohen. Brother of Marie Fox (Kenneth) and Frank Oddo Jr. (Pam). Brother-in-law of Jeannie Gallagher, Wilson Gilchrist (Carol) and Kathy Findley. Son of the late Grace Arcement and Frank Oddo Sr. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
“Pip” served his country in the U.S. Air Force and later retired as Purchasing Agent with Freeport-McMoran. He was active in his Church community as a Eucharistic Minister, was a member of Fr. Peter Boerding Knights of Columbus Council No. 6357 where he served as treasurer and was also a member of A.A.R.P. Chapter 4034. He loved spending time with his family and will be sadly missed. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 8968 Highway 23 in Belle Chasse on Tuesday, September 29, 2015 from 9 AM to 11 AM.
