Connell J. Vallette Sr passed away on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Beloved husband of the late Doris Curren Vallette. Father of Connell J. Vallette, Jr., Amy Gulotta-Rogers (Gary), Sewall Vallette (Claudelle) and the late Paul Vallette. Son of the late Ross and Gertrude Vallette. Brother of the late Ross J. Vallette Jr. and Sewall G. Vallette. Grandfather of Brice and Nathan Vallette, Jeffrey and Michael Gulotta, and Amelia and Christian Vallette. Great Grandfather of Samantha, Liam, and Ethan. Also survived by nieces and nephews. He was a lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Relatives and friends of the family, also members of the Santa Maria Knights of Columbus Council No. 1724, members of the Krewe of Janus and employees of Avondale Shipyards are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Holy Name of Mary Catholic Church, Algiers, LA on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at 11am.
