Constance Ann Dalton

Constance Ann Dalton passed away peacefully at Our Lady Of Wisdom in Algiers on October 6, 2014 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of the late William E Dalton, Sr. and daughter of the late Norman and Constance Altice. Constance is survived by her children Patricia A Dalton, Jean M Thornton (Peter), and William E Dalton, Jr (Melissa); Devoted grandmother of James, Thomas, Sean, Josephine, and Roman; Sister of Mary Emma Lunsford. Constance was born and raised in Mobile, Alabama where she attended Bishop Toolen High School and Spring Hill College. In 1972 she moved with her young family to New Orleans where she and her husband ran a successful ServiceMaster franchise.
She was an active parishioner of St. Andrew the Apostle and St. Cletus Catholic Parishes. Connie, as she was called, lived the last several years of her life surrounded by dear friends at Our Lady of Wisdom Healthcare Center in Algiers where she was a joyful member of the “Voices of Wisdom” choir. Relatives and friends are invited to attend Visitation at 10:00am Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Our Lady of Wisdom Chapel, 5600 General De Gaulle Drive, followed by a funeral Mass at 11:00am.
