Cora Benoit

Cora Benoit, age 70 entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, February 3, 2015. Beloved and loving wife of 46 years to A.J. Benoit, Sr. Loving and devoted mother of Armand Benoit, Jr. (Barbara) and Blaine Benoit (Lisa). Beloved grandmother of Trey Benoit, Eden Benoit, Marley Benoit, Jake Benoit, Jackson Benoit and Josh Benoit. Beloved great grandmother of Addison Benoit. Daughter of the late Gavino Manguerra and Catalina Manguerra. Cora is preceded in death by 12 sisters and brothers. She is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews. She was born in Sapang Maisac Mexico Pampanga, Philippines and a resident of Marrero, LA for 45 years. Cora’s visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Friday, February 6, 2015 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Saturday, February 7, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 11AM. Interment will follow in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
